2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:2)
There are times where it is extra important to examine the motivation behind your decisions. In this examination, it is key for us to determine whether they are motivated by fear or faith; by the desire to please God or man. What we need is a continued renewal of the mind. Only by this are we able to choose wisely and discern the will of God for our lives. It is in alignment to our risen savior that we start to think of the “Maybe”‘s of God.
And this is a dangerous “Maybe”
Today’s “Yes” to live my purpose empowers the “Maybe” of God’s movement
Maybe He brings healing Maybe He explodes your prayers Maybe He can use your struggle for a greater story Maybe He will do the unimaginable
When we think “Maybe” we blow the doors off the box we so often put God in. We see the impossible as likely in the shade of His power. This is true faith. This is the faith that moves mountains and changes hearts. Who’s to say that God can’t do the “Maybe”? As He renews your mind, keep it open to divine possibilities.
Lord, thank you for how you thrive in the impossible. Teach us to think big of you – stepping out in bold faith knowing you alone are our hope. May our reorganized purpose bring you glory.
