5 The purpose in a man’s heart is like deep water,
but a man of understanding will draw it out. (Proverbs 20:5)
You have deep purpose. Your quality of life is equal to the extent in which you believe this. And while every being on earth has a purpose, Christ – followers have extra motivation to discover and tread in its deep waters. Every choice you make, the “yes” “no” and “maybe”‘s of life, help to either reinforce or destruct your mission on this planet.
Your purpose is the compass for your decisions. With it, you have a general direction, but without it, you are easily lost in its twists and turns.
Lucky for us our purpose doesn’t have to be a mystery. God is simple in that He makes His message and work attainable to those who earnestly seek Him. It is up to you to seek Him as you pursue your greater purpose. As you work this path His Spirit will embolden you with the holy confidence that comes from serving the almighty God.
Today, have the courage to draw from the depth of your purpose. Do not let the distractions of today derail the life God has for you.
Today’s “Yes” to live my purpose empowers tomorrow’s “No” to interruption
Lord, we want to live the life you have for us. Reveal our purpose as we faithfully follow you into the dark corners of our lives.
