Something major is happening at Western Reserve. There is a certain momentum that is gaining. A certain magnetic pull. It is in the people, volunteers, and building on a daily basis. Could it be that Christ loves His church so much that He dwells daily within the walls and hearts of His beloved? Every week, our staff will share the unquantifiable feeling that something is different. Yes, we work hard and yes people are telling their friends about us which is generating a “buzz” but it goes beyond this. My friends, Jesus is real. He shapes our future and commands our present. While there are daily battles to fight and hills to climb, we can take refuge in the fact that He is indeed working now more than ever in the pulse of Western Reserve. Now is the time to live boldly amidst the shockwaves of His grace. Now is not the time to take up petty arguments or grow apathetic but to push forward to the goal set before us of reaching the spiritually restless with the only hope we know. It is one thing to label ourselves authentic and an entirely different thing to live as such. What will the legacy of our church be? We are in the middle of writing that very thing. May it be so blanketed in grace that we will never be able to categorize it. Jesus is moving, do you feel it?
